Deep sadness at passing of Fr Brian Quinn

There is widespread sadness across Donegal following the death well-known local priest Fr Brian Quinn.

Fr Quinn, who was 64, was Parish priest of the Church of the Irish Martyrs in Letterkenny.

He had been ill for some time and only recently celebrated 40 years in the priesthood.

Tributes are flowing in across social media for Fr Quinn, who was a hugely respected and much-loved figure across the county.

Fr Quinn’s funeral arrangements have yet to be announced.
