Rotary club raise funds for Downs Syndrome at shredding event

Letterkenny Rotary Club raised €311 for the Donegal Downs Syndrome Association at a shredding event that took place on the 24th of June.

The event took place in the Letterkenny Shopping Centre car park in association with United Shredding Co. Ltd.

People were invited to come along and have their personal documents shredded in return for a donation to Donegal Downs Syndrome.

To date, €1,500 has been raised and funds assist service users avail of speech and language therapy, physiotherapy and swimming lessons.

The Letterkenny Rotary Club would like to thank everyone who supported the monthly shredding last week and would like to remind people that the service will be running again on the 26th of August.
