Milford Gardaí held a very successful ‘marked property’ day in Termon last weekend.

The event was held at the Burn road, Termon on Saturday when a number of locals brought their property to be marked.

The initiative was held by Gardaí from the Milford District in conjunction with Termon GAA Club members Adrian and Kevin McGettigan.

“Property marking may prevent property being stolen and, if stolen and recovered, helps us to identify the rightful owner,” a garda spokesperson said.

A second date will be organised later on in the year.
