Job Vacancy: Magee Weaving Ltd is hiring a Production Assistant to join the team at New Row, Donegal Town.
Magee is a fifth generation Irish family business with over 150 years of experience in designing, weaving and tailoring cloth and clothing in Donegal. The Company operates across manufacturing, wholesale, retail and e-commerce.
We wish to recruit a Production Assistant whose main objective will be assisting with the day-to-day administration of the Production Department. This is a very varied role and tasks will include production, despatch and transport administration.
Key requirements:-
- A quick learner who will be able to work well with the team and will have the ability to work on their own initiative.
- Excellent communications skills – verbal and written. Attention to detail is essential along with the ability to work to deadlines.
- Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Excel and the ability to learn any in-House systems.
- Some knowledge of textiles, whilst not essential, would be an advantage.
This role would suit an experienced individual from a similar production environment. This is a full-time position – 39 hours per week. Benefits include a competitive salary, free parking, staff discount plus a generous Workwear Allowance and Company pension scheme after a qualifying period.
