Donegal goalkeeper and Garda Shaun Patton has pleaded with drivers to slow down on the road in order to avoid collisions.
The Donegal and St. Eunan’s goalkeeper, who is stationed in Navan, was part of the An Garda Síochána social media campaign, urging drivers to slow down on the road.
Patton said: “Unfortunately we all know of a family member, a friend, or a colleague who has died or has been seriously injured in a road traffic collision.
“There is one simple thing that every driver can to do help reduce these collisions, one simple message, Slow Down.”
