Oisin Orr and Dylan Browne McMonagle both continued on their winning ways with victories in the past 24 hours.
Rathmullan native Orr won on The Platinum Queen today in his second ride of two at York today.
Teaming up with Richard Fahey once again, who he is now the stable jockey for, Orr won on the 3/1 shot in the five furlong race.
Orr took a healthy lead and went a few lengths clear two lengths out and was never looking likely to be caught as 8/11 favourite Yahsat was well beaten by 3 and three quarter lengths in second place.
It’s a 10th win since Orr made the switch to England, with the majority coming with Fahey, as they also won on Tuesday at Pontefract with Solar Joe.
Meanwhile, Dylan Browne McMonagle won again at Leopardstown yesterday on Smaoineamh Sile.
The Letterkenny man was first home of 21 runners on board the 17/2 shot for John McConnell.
Browne McMonagle did the same as Orr in leading with two furlongs out, but didn’t have it as easy as 7/1 favourite Complete Fiction was flying home on the outside but Smaoineamh Sile held on to win by a neck.
