Last summer for popular ‘Fusion’ food truck

The owners of a popular south Donegal-based food truck have announced that they will cease trading at the end of the summer.

The Fusion food truck was established during Covid-19 in May 2020 by Gary and Linda Boyle of the Fusion Bistro Killybegs.

The truck is usually located at Teelin pier, providing fresh food for hungry visitors and people taking boat tours.

Gary and Linda closed their Killybegs restaurant just two months ago due to cost increases.

Yesterday they announced that it’s “time to draw a line under” the food truck too.

In an update to customers, they said: “As we’re both working full time during the week we’ll only be open Saturday 1pm to 7.30pm and Sunday 1pm to 6pm for the remainder of the season.

“This will be our last season and the end of all things Fusion.

“We’ve decided to focus on a new life for us and our family, we’ve been through the mill the last few years and it’s time to draw a line under it. We appreciate all your support, good will and everything you’ve done for us since 2019 and we’ll never forget it. Thank you so much!”
