Donegal was the ‘coolest place’ to be over the weekend, Met Eireann has revealed.
Temperatures reached into the low 20s in many parts of the country yesterday, but Malin Head’s weather station recorded a much cooler 16.4C.
The station was well below the averages due to its northerly position.

Further south, Finner Camp outside Ballyshannon saw max temperatures of 23.5C yesterday.
Tonight will be another humid night with lowest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees in a moderate southwest breeze.
