Body found in search for missing Letterkenny man

Gardai have stood down the search for missing man Anthony Boyle after the recovery of a body.

Mr Boyle, aged 79, was reported missing on Tuesday, sparking a major search across Killyclug and the wider Letterkenny area.

Gardaí have this afternoon confirmed that Mr Boyle’s body has been recovered.

A spokesperson said: “An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance with this matter.”
