A well-known local garda is on the road to success today as he nears the finish line of a 571km cycle.
Garda Ted Mc Caffrey from Donegal Town is smiling all the way through his Mizen 2 Malin challenge with Race Ireland.
He’s doing the solo, self-sufficient challenge to raise funds for Little Blue Heroes Foundation, a garda-led charity for children with life-limiting illnesses.
Garda Mc Caffrey, who is based with the Community Policing Unit in Lifford/Convoy/Raphoe, has a wealth of experience in cycling. His journey is being well-supported by his Donegal colleagues and the Little Blue Heroes family nationwide.
