St Vincent de Paul appeal for unwanted school uniforms

The Letterkenny branch of St Vincent de Paul is urging members of the public to donate used school uniforms.

So-called ‘uniform poverty’ is said to be a major driver of children missing school and is adding to the cost of living crisis.

SVP Letterkenny is currently accepting sweaters, trousers, shirts, skirts, ties and PE gear that are no longer needed.

Any donations can be dropped off at their branches at Lower Main Street and at the Station Roundabout.
