Passengers jetting off to NYC from Dublin Airport have been grounded this weekend after more flight cancellations by Aer Lingus.
The airline has cancelled the 4.40pm flight to New York JFK today, EI107, and the 8.40am return flight on Sunday, EI106.
More passengers have been left stranded in Faro Airport, where the EI493 Aer Lingus flight to Dublin was also cancelled at short notice.
The cancellations have been caused by “staff illness”, according to the airline.
Meanwhile, Ryanair has cancelled a flight to Brussels today. The FR1457 7pm flight from Brussels is cancelled, along with the return FR1456 7.25pm flight to Brussels from Dublin.
Airport security times are averaging at 20 minutes for Terminal Two and five minutes for Terminal 1, as of midday.
