A charity football tournament is taking place this weekend in memory of young Dunlewey man Micheal “Roycee” Roarty.
Dunlewey Celtic will be running a mini football tournament in honour of “Roycee”, who tragically lost his life in a car accident in January 2019, along with three other young men from surrounding communities, John Harley, Shaun Harkin, and Daniel Scott.
The games will kick off on Saturday 31st July from 5pm consisting of four teams and refreshments will be available on the day, and a small presentation afterwards.
The club are holding the event and raising funds for the Donegal branch of the Irish Kidney Association, a charity which is very close to the hearts of Micheal’s family. Funds will be raised on the day with donations at the gate, as well as through a GoFundMe page which can be accessed at the link: https://gofund.me/0ff19ce0
