Finn Harps have confirmed the departure of four players from the club.
The Donegal club last night confirmed that Yoyo Mahdy, Gerard Doherty, Erol Alkan and Jesse Devers have all left the club.
Striker Mahdy was signed at the start of this year after a spell at Shelbourne, but failed to make an impact for the club, scoring once in a 2-2 draw with Drogheda United at Finn Park.
24-year-old Mahdy made 20 appearances for Ollie Horgan’s side, starting 13 times.
Gerard Doherty made eight appearances last season for Finn Harps and was also Goalkeeping coach at the club.
The 40-year-old was also used as substitute keeper for a number of games this year but didn’t feature.
Meanwhile, Jesse Devers has been announced by Icelandic second division side ÍF Magni Grenevík.
Devers made just four starts in his second spell at Finn Park, failing to score.
The 25-year-old also made six appearances off the bench.
And 28-year-old defender Erol Alkan has moved to Belgium to join Third Division side Esperanza Pelt.
Alkan also featured very few times for the club, making three starts in his short time at Finn Park.
Harps have replaced him with Gary Boylan on loan from Galway United.
