Sea to Summit challenge to reach new heights this weekend

The ‘Sea to Summit’ fundraising challenge in aid of RNLI will take place on Sunday in Fanad.

The exciting run takes place over beaches and roads up to the summit of Murren Hill (Cnoc na Boirne), at a height of 227 metres.

Pre-registration can be done online or alternatively on Sunday morning at the Fanad Community Centre from 8.30am.

The entry fee is €20 and the race/walk begins at 10am, with refreshments being served afterwards in the Community Centre.

No dogs are allowed and children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

The event is sponsored by MOWI, Eco Atlantic and Teach Solais Fhánada.
