August at Glenveagh National Park is set to be a place where you can get away from it all, explore, learn and relax, with a host of different events lined up.

You can join bookable events such as the Bat Nights, watch out for their informal pop-up displays and guided walks on busy days, or visit the Outdoor Classroom on the Derrylahan Trail

There will be many events during Heritage Week, from the 13th-21st of August, and during Trad weekend, the 26th and 27th of August.

There will also be an exhibition on the Derryveagh Evictions from the 19th – 27th August and you can walk in the footsteps of Colmcille at Gartan on August 21st and 24th.

For bookings and enquiries for all outdoor nature events contact: glenveagh-education@housing.gov.ie
