The centre will be closed on Bank Holiday Monday the 1st of August.

Senior Alert Scheme is available from Mevagh FRC. This is a personal monitored alarm for people aged 65+, of limited means.
It enables older people to live securely and independently in their homes. Funded by Pobal.
The installation and equipment is free and if you connect to a landline, the monitoring is free for the first year.

Busy Bees Parent, Baby & Toddler group: This group is aimed at parents/carers and children 0-5 years old. We meet every Friday 10am – 12pm. €3 per family.
Swilly & Mulroy Wellness Café’s: Downings wellness café will meet on the first Thursday of every month and is on next Thursday 4 th August @ 10:30am – 12pm, in The Galley.
Ramelton’s wellness café will run on the third Thursday of every month @ 10:30am – 12pm, in Quayside Bistro. Call in for a cuppa and a chat, everyone welcome.
“Big Fish Little Fish” Transition from National School to Secondary School *SAVE THE DATE*: Monday 22nd August, 2 – 4 pm.
This is a FREE, fun workshop for local children moving onto secondary school from the Mevagh area.
Providing an opportunity to meet new friends and covers all issues that may affect your child moving on.
We cover timetables, classroom changes etc and hold fun team building exercises. To book a place please ring the Resource Centre.
