A young man remains in a serious condition in hospital following a collision between a motorbike and a car on the R245 at Castleshanaghan between the Silver Tassie Hotel and Aughnagaddy.
Gardai have renewed their appeal for witnesses to the crash which occurred on Thursday the 28th of July at approx. 6.50pm.
The motorcycle was travelling in the direction of Letterkenny at the time of the collision and the car was travelling in the opposite direction.
The motorcyclist was taken by ambulance to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive treatment for injuries sustained. He remains in hospital receiving treatment.
The driver of the car was not injured.
A Garda spokesperson said “We appeal to anybody who travelled on that stretch of road around the time and who had a dash cam to make the footage available to Gardaí. We also appeal to anybody who may have witnessed the collision to contact Gardaí in Milford on 074-9153060.”
