Mullan Hope Centre charity bike run a huge success

There was a great show of support for the Inishowen 100 charity bike run held in association with the Mullan Hope Centre on Sunday.

Motorcyclists travelled the Inishowen 100 route, finishing in Moville, with all donations made on the day going towards LauraLynn and Blood Bikes North West,

LauraLynn helps provide care to children with extensive needs and their families, while Blood Bikes North West deliver hospital supplies, blood samples, donor breast milk, etc., to hospitals, free of charge.

The event was supported by the Mullan Hope Centre – a community centre set up in memory of John, Tomás and Amelia Mullan.

Geraldine Mullan set up the non-profit centre of well-being, based at her husband’s gardening business, in memory of her family who passed away two years ago.

The centre serves as a hub where community groups and other events can gather and engage with each other.

It is the second year that the Bike Run has been hosted by the Mullan Hope Centre, with the event taking place on the 1st of August last year.

Gardaí said that they were “delighted to be able to assist with traffic management for this wonderful event.”

An enjoyable day was had by all who attended the event.
