Gardai are hunting two men who vandalised a local park in Buncrana.

The incident happened at the park at Riverview in Buncrana in the early hours of Monday the 25th of July at 4.30am.

Damage was caused to a swan ornament in the Park and flowers were pulled out of a number of other ornaments in the park also.

Two males have been caught on CCTV causing the damage.

One of them was wearing a t-shirt and light coloured shorts with dark trainers. The other was wearing tracksuit bottoms and a hoodie.

They both left on foot in the direction of Riverview Park following the incident.

Gardai say the park is kept well and maintained by the residents and there is great disappointment and anger as a result of the incident.

Gardaí in Buncrana may be reached on 074-9320540.
