Update – Four rushed to hospital after Clonmany incident

Gardaí have confirmed a driver suffered a ‘health incident’ before crashing into a crowd in Clonmany this evening.

The incident occurred on the main street of the village at around 6.30p.m.

“The driver of the vehicle had a health incident and struck a number of pedestrians,” a spokesperson for the Garda Press Office told Donegal Daily.

“The driver and three pedestrians were all removed to Letterkenny University Hospital with non life threatening injuries. “Investigations are ongoing.”

Hundreds of music lovers were in the town this evening for the annual Clonmany Festival.
