Pooches of all shapes and sizes were out in force last Sunday for the Scruffs Dog Show in Rathmullan.
The event had a great turnout, with all pets on their best behaviour in the hope of scooping a prize.
There were 13 categories, including best biscuit catcher; best rescue dog; best older dog; best trickster. The winning dogs were selected by a Kennel Club judge.
More than €1,000 was raised for the support of stray and injured animals in the locality.
Clare Gallagher said: “Thank you to everyone who made the 2022 Scruffs Dog Show such a success, held at The Battery, Rathmullan on Sunday afternoon as part of the Rathmullan Festival. There were over 60 dogs competing.
“We hope to see you and your dogs in 2023- same time, same place!”
