An unexpected water main burst is causing disruption to local homes and businesses in the Bundoran area today.
The major burst was reported on the trunk water main between the main storage reservoir at the water treatment plant and Bundoran Town.
The burst is impacting the water supply to homes and businesses in the following areas including Bundoran Town, Ballyshannon South, and surrounding areas, including Askill Group Water Scheme in North Leitrim.
Irish Water repair works are scheduled to take place until 4 pm this evening.
