A crew from RTÉ Nationwide was in the county yesterday to film Gardaí within the Donegal Division.
The episode being filmed is for a Garda Centenary special that will be aired later this month.
Brian McVeigh and Dónal Byrne were in Donegal to film Garda Breandán Mac Artáin, Garda John Cahalin, Garda Brian Gallagher, Chief Superintendent Terry McGinn and Garda Mateusz Ferenc for the special episode.
A number of events and initiatives were announced by the Minister of Justice Helen McEntee earlier this year, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of An Garda Síochána, the occupation of the Four Courts and the enactment of the Irish Free State Constitution.
One of them includes a new online photo archive of policing that was launched in July.
