The gruelling Donegal Ultra 555 cycle took place in the county yesterday with Jerry McCarthy crossing the finish line first.
The Kerry native crossed the line after 19:08:22, well clear of the rest of the competition in the 555km cycle around Donegal.
Michael Flood was in second place finishing in 20:41:35 while Andrew McAtee was 3rd in 21:25:37.
Cecellia Holden won the solo female 555, crossing the finish line in 24:33:44.
