Daniel O’Donnell’s entertainment firm recorded its first-ever loss last year due to the impact of Covid-19.
The chart-topper’s company remains highly lucrative though, with €4.23 million in profits retained last year.
The Sunday Times reports that DOD Promotions posted a loss of €88,298 in the 12 months to October 2021.
The limited company was set up in 1991 to handle Daniel’s earnings from his CD sales, touring and advertising. The greatest bulk of its income took a hit in 2021 due to Covid-19 cancellations.
However Daniel is back on tour with new shows coming up in Killarney, London and Canada.
