Ursula Miller came out on top in the Play in Pink competition in aid of Breast Cancer research at Murvagh Golf Club.
Donegal Golf Club Murvagh Lady Captain Helen O’Shea welcomed everyone to the presentation night and said she was delighted that the club could host the Play in Pink competition.
Cancer had visited all of us in the past either personally or through family and friends.
She said that she hoped in the future that we as a club would include more than just the club ladies in the event and she was delighted that some of the men had participated in the putting competition.
She said she was pleased that the event had given the lady beginners and juniors the opportunity to play in a club even and meet and enjoy the company of all the members.
Lady Captain thanked the organiser of the event Gillian O’Callaghan and her team for making the day such a success .
The Organiser Gillian thanked her team: Anne Marie McCormick , Margaret Hynes, Joan Thomas, Margaret Trimble, Geraldine Giblin , Breege McCooey, Patricia Britton, Rene Brogan, Mairin McCarthy and Lady Captain Helen O’Shea who had also donated all of the prizes except of the first three, She also thanked Dorothy Woods who did the beautiful flower centre piece.
