Termon are calling out to the local public for help in the construction of their new clubhouse and facilities at the ground.
The club are seeking all expressions of interest from those willing to get involved and want to contribute a few hours or a few days to help the club complete the project which will transform the facilities for the future.
Daireann Gibson, part of the Club 300 fundraising committee and part of the Clubhouse Redevelopment Committee, said: “36 months ago we undertook plans to redevelop our facilities here in Termon to provide for our expanding club membership together with other members of the wider GAA community and other community groups.
“A tremendous amount of work has been completed, planning consent is now being achieved all voluntarily and now because we are moving into the construction phase, we want to assess what technical skills out there that are happy to get involved with us on a voluntary basis.
“We already have some very strong expressions of interest so what we’re doing is we’re calling out to anybody with ground work experience, block layers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, anybody that feels they can add value to the construction phase of the project, we would love to hear from you.”
