Officers from Customs and Revenue mounted checkpoints outside Letterkenny early this morning.
Officers mounted the checkpoints at Coravaddy Woods carpark on the back road between Letterkenny and Drumkeen at 7.15am.
It is understood the officer s were checking for illegal diesel.
