Plans have been unveiled for a new ‘sit-com’ feature film which will be shot in Inishowen.

Local director Brendan Moran (Muff Direct) and Wild Atlantic Productions have teamed up to create a short film for submission to TV stations, streamer or network companies.

Actors are being invited to audition for the pilot episode of the drama series which will highlight local talent and the beautiful scenic locations in the Inishowen peninsula.

The casting call says:

Anyone interested in participating should attend the auditions being held on Saturday 27th August
in The Community Centre, Quigley’s Point, Co. Donegal. F93 R57X

Males from 10am – 1pm; Females from 2 – 5pm.

Age preference for featured roles: 18/23 and 35/45, however, extras of any age (over 18) will be considered.

This will require being available for filming for a few hours during the month of September.

Experience is not necessary, but welcome; the desire to participate is essential!

Payment is commensurate with screen time.
