A young motorist has appealed for information after her car was badly damaged while parked at a local pier.

The black Peugeot was left at Burtonport harbour from 5pm t 8pm yesterday (Saturday) beside Hannigan’s fish factory.

The damage caused to the underside to the car.

“I know accidents happen but it’s very unfair for someone to walk away from someone else’s car when damage is done,” the owner said.

“No note or anything like that was left and I’m just wondering if anyone saw anything.”

Anyone with information should contact Dungloe Garda Station on 0749521000.
