A local football club has hit out at ‘shameful’ anti-social behavior at a pitch last weekend.
Buncrana Hearts FC coaches discovered a large dump of bottles tossed across the bottom pitch in Castle Park pitch on Sunday, right before an U11 Braves match.
The incident sparked an appeal from the club calling on people to stop immediately or action will have to be taken.

“This disgusting behaviour could have had serious consequences for the kids about to play a game of football,” a spokesperson said.
“Discussions have taken place with An Garda Siochanna and plans are in place to deal with the situation. We would once again appeal to those involved in this anti-social behaviour to stop immediately.”
