Finn Valley athlete Brendan Boyce has placed in the Top 10 of the 35k Walk at the European Athletics Championships.
Boyce’s goal was fulfilled in a thrilling finish as he made up 10 places in the second half to complete the event in a time of 2:38:03.
Boyce entered on the back of a strong performance at the World Championship in Oregon.
Five Donegal athletes are competing at the Championships in Munich this week, including Finn Valley AC trio Mark English, Eilish Flanagan and Roisin Flanagan and Letterkenny AC’s Ann-Marie McGlynn.
