EIGHT people were arrested during a series of Garda raids in Letterkenny today.
The operation saw gardaí entering and searching a number of residences on Lower Main Street.
A quantity of drugs was also seized during the operation.
Gardaí confirmed that a total of eight persons were arrested and are currently detained at a number of Garda Stations in the region.
It’s believed that another residence in a housing estate close to the town was also searched this afternoon, but gardaí have not disclosed the exact locations.
“Investigations are ongoing,” a spokesperson said.
