Office burnt out in criminal damage attack in Buncrana

Gardaí are searching for a group of youths after a fire and vandalism incident at a site in Buncrana.

A portable office cabin was completely burnt out near the Pairc Mor estate on Thursday 11th August.

Gardaí and the fire service were called to the scene between 8.30pm and 9pm.

Significant damage was also done to lorries on site, where the windscreens and windows were smashed, doors were damaged and there was some internal damage to the vehicles.

Gardaí are seeking to speak with a number of youths who were seen exiting the site around the time of the incident.

They reportedly made off in the direction of the Castle Road/Cockhill Road.

Anyone who can assist with the investigation, or anyone with dashcam footage, is asked to contact Buncrana Garda Station on (074) 932 0540
