Heavy rain to make way for the sun – Met Éireann

A band of heavy or thundery rain will pass southwards through Ulster this morning.

However, the rain will clear through the morning, becoming drier in all parts of the province by lunchtime.

Sunny spells will follow for the rest of the day and just isolated showers.

Highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees, coolest in west Ulster, with moderate to fresh westerly winds.

Tonight will be dry with clear spells in many areas, however there will also be a few showers, mainly in west Ulster.

Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees. Southwest winds will be light in most areas, moderate near coasts.
