A Judge has expressed his surprise at an application for a late drinks license for a 30th birthday party.
The application was made on behalf of a West Donegal pub at a sitting of Letterkenny District Court.
Visiting Judge James Faughnan appeared to express his surprise that such a major celebration was being undertaken for such a young age.
“Usually when you get to fifty it’s something. They must think getting to thirty is an achievement,” he quipped.
