Man hospitalised after vicious attack in pub toilet

A man had to be hospitalised after he was viciously attacked in the toilet of a pub in Inishowen on Sunday evening.

The man was set upon at the bar at Quigley’s Point on Sunday evening.

The victim went into the toilet between 7pm and 8.15pm and was assaulted.

The man had to be taken to hospital to be treated for the injuries he suffered during the attack.

Garda Sergeant Paul Wallace has appealed for anybody with any information on the attack to contact Gardai.
