Ferris Lane in Buncrana is open to vehicular traffic once again this morning.
Councillor Jack Murray confirmed the reopening of the important artery in the centre of the town.
“It was closed for far too long but, thankfully, this important access from the Main St can be used by cars once again,” Cllr Murray said.
“Hoping now that the buildings can be restored back to their former glory soon, too.”
The street was closed following the February 2019 devastating fire which gutted a number of the town’s iconic buildings, including The Plaza Ballroom and John Barr’s shop.
