A forward-thinking community group in east Donegal has just been given the green light to install hundreds of solar panels.
Crossroads and Killygordon Enterprise (CAKE) has been granted permission for the installation of 760 square meters of solar PV (photo voltaic) panels over the roof of their centre.
The proposed development also includes a change of use of the existing storage room to use as a space for storage and packing of food items for a local start-up.
The centre, at Railway Avenue, Killygordon, is home to a number of local businesses and sporting organisations.
