With a full range of testing facilities, including eye tests and hearing tests, plus ear wax removal, Specsavers Donegal is excited to announce they have now expanded their audiology services with the launch of their first ever hearcare testing room.

The Hearcare room is fully equipped with the latest state of the art technology to facilitate fully comprehensive audiology tests.

This includes video otoscopy which allows audiologists to see the external auditory canal and tympanic membrane, wax removal services done via microsuction devices, hearing aid consultations and fittings.

They also offer the highest technology hearing aids in the industry with discrete fitting options available for customers.

The clinic is run by highly experienced and expert audiologists Liam Ward and Kieran Kenny who are both fully registered with the Irish Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists accreditation.

The Hearcare room will be open on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9am until 5pm.

To celebrate the launch of Specsavers Donegal’s new Hearcare room, they will be running a Super Saver discount week which includes a variety of discounts across Hearcare audiology services for customers as well as hearing products.

This Super Saver week will run from the 12th of September until the 19th.

Kieran Kenny, Audiologist, and Shannon Broderick, Specsavers Retail director.

With thanks to PRSI benefits, eligible customers can see and hear for free at Specsavers.

Customers can avail of one free pair of glasses from the €69 range and one pair of free hearing aids up to the value of €1,000.

More recent updates to the PRSI Treatment Benefit Programme means that people aged 25-28 will now only need to work for 9 months to avail of optical and hearing treatments which will benefit almost 80,000 young people within this age cohort.

Specsavers are encouraging people to enquire about these PRSI benefits when making their appointments.

Customers are always guaranteed expert eye care and hearing services, exceptional choice, and outstanding value for money.
