Majella O’ Donnell will be taking a nostalgic look back at her past in an upcoming RTE show this Sunday.

The singer, broadcaster and campaigner is this week’s special guests on ‘Keys To My Life’ airing on RTE One on Sunday 11th September at 8.30pm.

On the show, Majella brings presenter Brendan Courtney to meaningful homes and places which have shaped her life.

A return to her childhood home in Thurles churns up memories of Majella O’ Donnell’s difficult relationship with her father – a relationship that was to define her lifelong problems around intimacy and relationships.

In The Premiere Ballroom in Thurles Majella revisits her early successes in stage musicals and laments her thwarted dreams to become a performer.

Stepping back into the Edinburgh apartment she shared with her first husband Majella movingly recalls her years of post natal depression and the infidelity that caused the breakdown of her marriage.

And in sunny Tenerife she joyously remembers how her life turned-around when she met a nice man called Daniel in a local Irish Bar!

Tune in to see the show this Sunday 11th September, RTE One, 8.30pm.
