Gardai are investigating an attack on an apartment in Stranorlar at the weekend.

The burglary took place at a flat complex on Chapel Street at around 8pm last Friday, September 9.

Grda Claire Rafferty said three men dressed in dark clothing entered an unlocked apartment and smashed TV, PC and other items.

They proceeded to flee on foot in the direction of main street.

All three had their faces covered during the incident.

Gda Rafferty is appealing to anyone who may have been in the area between 7:45pm and 8:15pm, and who noticed anything suspicious, to contact Gardai.

They are also appealing to motorists with dashcams who were also in the area at the time to get in touch.

Anyone with information should contact Letterkenny Garda Station on 0749167100 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
