Update – Lifford Bridge closed and diversions in place

Donegal County Council has confirmed that Lifford Bridge is currently closed to traffic and motorists are advised to avoid the area.

The PSNI are dealing with a collision on the Strabane side of the Lifford bridge.

As a result, traffic is being diverted via Castlefin and Derry.

Gardai are advising motorists to avoid Clady as there are major delays through the narrow streets in the village.
