A Donegal man has appeared in court charged with five charges of sexual assault.
The man, who is in his 50s, cannot be named for legal reasons.
Four of the alleged charges are against on person and the other is against a second person.
Letterkenny District Court was told that a book of evidence has been served in the case.
The man was represented in court by solicitor Tom McSharry.
The court heard the Director of public Prosecutions has consented for the case to go forward to the Circuit Court for trial on October 19th next.
