Witness appeal after food van damaged at Glenties Harvest Fair

Gardaí are investigating an incident in Glenties after a roadside chip van was damaged by a passing vehicle.

The collision occurred on Sunday 11th September during the weekend of Glenties Harvest Festival.

A chip van was parked on main street with the food hatch opened and elevated when a white flatbed truck collided with it, causing damage to the van. The driver of the truck failed to remain at the scene.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to provide any helpful information to Ballyshannon garda station on +353 71 9858530.
