Gardai are investigating a housefire at a vacant property in Ballybofey.
The fire happened at a small house at Sessiaghoneill on Sunday night last, September 25th at around 11pm.
The fire services were quick on the scene and managed to extinguish the fire.
The damage was thankfully confined to one room with smoke damage to other areas.
Gardai say they have not ruled out the possibility that the fire was started maliciously.
