Gardai are renewing their appeal for information on the two-year anniversary of the disappearance of Cian Langelaan.

The last known sighting of Cian was on Sunday the 27th of September 2020 in the Hornhead area, Donegal.

Cian, aged 27 at the time, was reported missing from the Falcarragh area.

Described as 5ft 8in tall, of medium build, clean shaven, with sandy/auburn hair and blue-grey eyes, Cian was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and black boots on one of the last occasions that he was observed.

It is believed Cian stayed in Dillon’s Hotel, Letterkenny on 24-25 September. On the Sunday night he paid €60 for a taxi from Letterkenny to Hornhead, Dunfanaghy and arrived between 22:30-22:40hrs. He was carrying a plastic bag containing personal items, including wallet and phone.

If anybody has any information in relation to the whereabouts of Cian or any information that might assist with the investigation, Gardaí urge them to contact Milford Gardaí on 074-9153060 or to call the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111.

Cian’s mother Anthea is currently fundraising to give back to the National Missing Persons Helpline for the support they gave her over the past two years. Donations to the Hope for Cian appeal can be made to: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/A-LANGELAAN
