Five-year-old boy dies after being knocked off bike in Derry

A five-year-old boy has died after being struck by a van in Limavady yesterday.

Ollie Simmons-Watt is believed to have been riding his bike in a residential area of the town when the collision happened on Thursday afternoon.

He was rushed hospital for treatment, but unfortunately died from his injuries.

The PSNI are appealing for witnesses to the tragic collision.
