A Donegal community has come together to help raise funds for little Caitlin Strain.

Caitlin is from Burnfoot and is currently in America having treatment for a brain tumour.

Now some local musicians including Edel McLaughlin, Roisin Harrigan (McGrory) and Maria Barron have come together to raise funds for the Strain family.

The organisers are hosting a Tea and Tunes for Caitlin event in the Halfway House on Sunday week, October 9th between 3pm and 6pm.

As well as issuing an invite to everyone, organisers are also asking that, if anyone wants to drop sandwiches, cakes or bakes into them, they can be left at the main hall at the Halfway House from 1-3pm on the day, with all donations appreciated.

Also,  anybody who wants to make a donation to Caitlin’s Fund can log onto https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-caitlin-receive-vital-treatment-in-america
